The accommodation and staff were exceptional. We loved the cooking class and the food was amazing. The staff also helped us immensely when we needed to take our son for medical attention. The only thing that was a bit misleading was they told us that they provide a tuk tuk for the local area. We assumed it was included… we assumed wrong and were charged a lot in addition. This was certainly not a deal breaker though - we loved it here. 11/10

The bed sheets were super clean and comfortable. The room was really good considering the humidity around. The room and bathroom were very clean. The owner was super nice and friendly. He welcomed us with some tea and biscuits. He sent us places to visit without the intention of selling anything. The place is 15 minutes walking or you can get there by Tuk Tuk (around 400) or the owner can pick you up. He actually drove us to the next destination and we met with him in the city and he brought our backpacks. We felt safe, comfortable and the place is really quiet and calm. The views are spectacular. If you are looking for being close to Ella but at the same time some peace this is the place.

Great view and private balcony ! Far enough from the noise of Ella. I loved the breakfast in the morning on the balcony with the view, birds, squirrels and monkeys in the distance. It is 10min from the center of the town but that’s what I was looking for, you can rent a scooter with them and they can also pick you up at the bus stop in Ella (for a fair price). I recommend

The genuine hospitality and friendliness of the host family. I usually stay in hotels and this was a very different, nice experience. Meal prices were surprisingly low and the lady of the house who cooked for us was flexible enough to provide our requested choice of meats which is rare in local homes who normally provide only chicken and fish. We stayed two days here .we had more information and a popular tourist destination arrived. Mr sameera is the best person we met .he told us about the tour plan. He is also doing a hidden nature tour haputale and we travel with him. He is a very knowledgeable and very good local guide . The room was very clean and I think the best view in Haputale is here. Night time breathtaking views and the most beautiful seanary is the train moving . You can see the main city in front of the room. Service and hospitality is best here.. I really recommend it here . Try to visit again. I hope to stay in another beautiful room ( still not built)
