We went to Kayaam House for part of our honeymoon to Sri Lanka. It was perfect! So gorgeous and serene. You're right on the beach - the beach is peaceful - there is no one on it and it stretches as far as you can see. When we were there, the waves were too big to swim but walking along the beach was still lovely. The pool is gorgeous! Perfect temperature and big. Loved it! The rooms are clean and fresh. Great having the smart TV too. Our room was facing the beach so we could hear the waves at night (sometimes they break quite loudly!) - so it was helpful that they supplied complimentary ear plugs. The food is great! And the staff are wonderful. They also host meditation and yoga classes in their outdoor hut by the pool every day - we did this and it was such a lovely way to start the day.

Spent 5 relaxing days here and would definitely come back

The accommodation offers a spa centre. Guests at Sleeping Elephant Beach Resort will be able to enjoy activities in and around Tangalle, like cycling. It was our most beautyful stay in Srilanka. Like in paradise. The staff was realy nice, especially Nuwan and Malaka and the cleaning lady. Also Simona was wery helpful and nice to the kids and organised a night fire for us with a lot of patiente and no extra charge. The kids loved everything. Also the food was wery good and beautiful served. We ate the best curry on Srilanka. And also good pizza.

Vegetarian, halal and vegan options can also be requested. What made our week’s stay at Lagoon Gate Tangalle Resort truly exceptional was how well looked after we were by Lalith and his family. My friend and I were interested in yoga and exploring, and not only did Lalith connect us with everyone to ensure we had the best possible experiences, from yoga and kayaking to whale and turtle watching, but we got to discover the closely connected local community. Rooms were spacious and spotless, our meals were freshly home-cooked, and there was plenty to see in the tropical grounds. Tangalle is a stunning part of Sri Lanka, and we are grateful that we really got to make the most of it.

The accommodation provides a private beach area and a range of water sports facilities, as well as a terrace and a restaurant. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi. The host was extremly friendly and helpful. Apartment was amazingly clean and cozy, also the room is huge. The garden was maybe the best part, very nicely groomed and full of birds and peacooks whose singing is the best alarm clock ever. Breakfast and dinner were yummy and the host also makes great cocktails. By far the best place we have stayed in in sri lanka. Highly recommed! :)

The rooms are spacious, clean and the beds are comfortable. I loved spending time by the pool bird watching. Would stay again and highly recommend!
