Asanka, Cha, and the rest of the team are warm, intuitive, and quietly brilliant. Returning to your cottage feels like the fairies have been — everything clean, calm, and glowing. It’s the kind of place that makes you breathe deeper, sleep better, and believe in the goodness of people again. I travel a lot. I’m extremely picky. And I can say — from Monte Carlo to Mauritius — this is in my top three stays anywhere in the world. The Cottage is family, nature, care, and calm wrapped into one unforgettable experience. Top hospitality! Owners and sfat were super nicd with me: I was suppose to leave Sri Lanka and they let me keep the room also in the afternoon (despite check out was at 11 am) Location very closed tk the sea and you can visit market also by walking. Rooms are wonderful, with everythjng you need and also very nice. Breakfast is vedy good (fruit, eggs, toast, tea) Thanks again for the lovely time!

Very nice accommodation in Negombo - good to start or end your travel. The hosts are more than welcoming and friendly and happy to give you any recommendation you ask for. They do offer external laundry. Nice garden to chill and delicious breakfast. Only a short walking distance from the beach.

Great location, fantastic staff, just everythimg that you need to relax. Close to bars and restaurants but just tucked away in a nice quiet spot.

Dickman resort is a real gem in Negombo. Beautifully designed garden and amazing rooms. We stayed in the Mango suite which was absolutely the nicest we have stayed in in Sri Lanka. (all rooms have different themes) Biggest, most comfortable bed, coffee machine, large TV with movie channel, lovely shower and good wifi... The pool outside the door was lovely and the sunbeds comfortable. The staff were pleasant, knowledgeable and very service minded. The breakfast is not good. 100 m away was the beach promenade with all the hustle and bustle, but at the resort it was quiet and nice. We will choose this hotel more times.

Beautiful boutique hotel close to the airport (but you’d never know). They had a fairly extensive menu considering this is not a big property and it was delicious. The staff were exceptional and we loved our stay of three nights here. They had complimentary afternoon tea and drinks every afternoon which was a fabulous touch, which you took on the veranda. The kids played croquet on the lawn while we’d have a G&T and then return for a board game with us. Couldn’t have been more perfect.
