From the moment I arrived the staff did an amazing job, nothing was any trouble and always a smile.. add to this an amazing building and decor you have an amazing hotel. I made the mistake of booking a place in the fort for the social aspect that was more expensive and half as nice in every department, probably forgo the 3 nights in the new place and return to Taavetti, you won't regret booking i promise you.

The beach is amazing, swimming outside the hotel is possible if waves are small, otherwise it’s just a short walk to a calmer spot. We stayed in the villa with private pool which is lovely. The breakfast and dinner options are great and include Asian and international choices. It’s a perfect place for a relaxing few days, away from it all. A memorable end to our Sri Lanka trip!
