Thank you all for making my stay memorable. I will never forget the beautiful sunrise in 6.15am and first swim the same time. Ruben was the day star and the best helper, also the lifeguard. My only advise to the hotel - more attention to the environment, surroundings and cleanliness of the whole beach not the hotel part. Spa is another little gem of the complex. The food and the chef with all the staff were amazing. Great place to feel happy.

The location of the hotel is perfect and the beach in front of the hotel was amazing. The staff was very friendly, helpful and very thoughtful in every manner. The staff were paying attention to everything small thing which was very impressive. Special thanks goes to Mr Dammika the Manager for organising everything so well and also Mr Munas for his excellent service.

This resort is very aptly named: an oasis of peace and tranquility in a gorgeous spot. The room was clean and spacious, and we could access the pool directly from our patio. The swimming pool is beautiful, with a shallower area for toddlers as well. The he beach was pristine, and we felt safe enough to leave all our belongings on the beach lounge chairs while swimming / taking a walk. The staff is very nice and helpful.

The hotel is wonderful, friendly staff, excellent surrounding, the big rooms, the view from the rooms. I come back next year.

It is with great pleasure that I leave a review about the Sunrise Pasikuda Hotel! My family and I spent a wonderful 11 days-I didn't want to leave! The two-room family room turned out to be very large and comfortable: 2 bathrooms, a bathroom, comfortable ergonomic mattresses, clean linen, all(!) possible accessories for personal care and hygiene, coffee and tea in the mini-bar, which was replenished in the morning and evening, room cleaning 2 times a day, a spacious terrace with comfortable outdoor furniture, views of the beach and tropical park. Two small two-storey buildings of the hotel are located on the huge green territory of Sunrise Pasikuda Park, with giant palm trees and many other trees and plants, which adjoins a wide beach with snow-white sand. One of the best beaches we've ever seen. The beach is snow-white, spacious with a very hospitable ocean! The entrance to the ocean is on fine sand and a shallow bottom, without waves, which allows you to swim all day in peace. The part of the beach belonging to Sunrise Pasikuda has comfortable sun beds with soft mattresses and towels, which are kindly provided by the hotel. Sprawling trees with a vast and dense crown serve as a real salvation from the midday sun – thanks to the hotel staff for taking care of these beautiful trees. There is also a huge swimming pool on the territory of the hotel, which extends throughout the park: from the hotel buildings to the coastline. Fresh shower. Delicious breakfasts in the lobby restaurant. From the usual omelets to Ceylon exotics; an abundance of pastries, tropical fruits and freshly squeezed juices. We really want to thank all the staff of the hotel! The management of the hotel, the staff of the restaurant, the beach, the rooms, the gardeners, the reception. You have given us an unforgettable, wonderful experience! We did everything possible to solve our everyday problems and at the same time left the opportunity to be alone with our family and our journey.

For our second visit to Passikudah we chose Anantaya Resort and we couldn't have chosen better. From the first moment to the end we were looked after by the friendly staff, especially Rishopana and Kanogitha. We booked this resort for a room with direct access to the pool and we were lucky to get perhaps the nicest room. But what makes this resort special is the people who work here. We also spoke with the friendly beach/pool attendant S. and likewise the waiters and cooks at breakfast and dinner did everything they could to make the guests happy. Excellent Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner. My husband was delighted that the waiters here could spin a beer with a foam cap. The room was very nice and clean. The pool was cleaned regularly too. Free sunbeds on the beach. Beautiful beach and walks. If we had not booked another stay before, we would have stayed longer. We will definitely be back here soon!

More than just a Resort. Purpose build to protect the nature and its surroundings. Perfect blend of local culture and great service by the local staff. Great seafood, fresh from the Ocean cooked to your taste. Specious rooms and comfortable beds and other facilities with large washrooms. Lots of nature. Amazing pool, Adil the resident manager was truly exceptional. The night time lagoon boat ride to hear the singing fish was amazing. The fish eagle family that live in a tree by the hotel was incredible. A great place to stay!

This place is spectacular. The beach is endless piles of soft sand, warm water, and nobody around except some fishermen. My bungalow was extremely comfortable and spacious, with a gorgeous outdoor waterfall shower and huge private yard. The three-service massage package was wonderful and great value. The food was delicious and healthy. I had a great time taking out one of the kayaks on the quiet beach. I have zero complaints and would go again in a heartbeat!
