The room was very spacious and the staff extremely attentive! The facilities were top-notch. The indoor pool overlooked the mountain ranges, the Skyline Bar is a must visit for anyone in the area - drinks in the clouds - and the Sackville restaurant had great food and views. The breakfast buffet consisted of food from all over the world - and shouldn't be missed. The manager, Mr. Shaam, consistently went above and beyond - He was extremely informative and resourceful and consistently surprised us with his generosity! Dilrukshi was always helpful with tips on where to go and what to do. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Bellwood Manor is immaculately and faultlessly furnished with an excellent staff. Every detail is designed and brilliantly executed. The food is brilliant with an excellent chef. I cannot recommend this stay more highly. It is a sheer pleasure to spend time at Bellwood Manor.

Guests can use the hot tub and the spa centre, or enjoy mountain views. Decided to visit the Fleming Resort, situated between Norton and Ginigathhena, in the Ranges of the Samanala Kanda (Adams Peak). We made a reservation for two rooms for our family of 5. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and each room had its own balcony to view the Norton Bridge mountain range from the balcony. The best part about this resort, the owner and his wife are super friendly and made us feel very homely. All the rooms have a mini fridge to store refreshments and also have an attached bathroom with hot and cold water showers. The bathrooms are super clean. Meals are provided on request at reasonable rates. The foods provided are very delicious and real Sri Lankan style dishes are served. The resort also provides free WiFi throughout the property, and free private parking for guests who drive in. A must go place with the family.  My ratings are as follows: Rooms: 5/5; Cleanliness 5/5, Service: 5/5; Location: 5/4. Close attractions are Aberdeen falls, Norton Bridge, Laxapana Falls.

Everything was amazing - the staff, the food, the rooms, the views around. Amazing. What a pity that we spent so little time here. I want to go back to Sri Lanka just because of this place and its stunning beauty and silence.

The rooms and the toilets were clean and comfortable. The staff were warm and friendly. The food in the restaurant was exceptionally good.

The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi. Amazing resort that is really entwined with nature. Not sure how it isn't more well known considering the value for money you get and the social mission the owner is on to improve livelihoods for local people in nearby villages. Whoever designed this place really has an eye for detail to allow you to experience luxury while still being immersed in the natural forest. We stayed in the balcony room and still have this amazing memory of sitting on the balcony (which is also equipped with a lovely ceiling fan, table and traditional chairs) during a rain storm and seeing the mist roll through the valley while listening to the sounds of the forest awoken by the rain. It was magical. The rooms are very clean and well maintained and I didn't see any critters which was hard to believe considering how close to the forest you are. There is a private track leading to a peaceful swimming hole in the nearby river which we had all to ourselves. Just me mindful of leeches if it's been raining. In regards to the food, we ordered a traditional rice and curry that wasn't actually on the menu but it was delicious. If you're Lankan or love spice, maybe just ask for local-level hot otherwise they will serve it mild. The service overall is very kind and attentive, proud to see this in Sri Lanka. Next time we will stay in the private villas as they look stunning with their private pools along with mini rivers running adjacent to the room. The magnificent Arberdeen waterfall is also a short tuk tuk drive away. I was a little worried in one review saying the place smelled overwhelming of Naphthalene but I didn't smell anything so maybe they changed something.
