The rooms were also very big with room to make yourself at home. What we loved most was the kind host family, they were so helpful and sweet to us. Also the breakfast was amazing. My boyfriend is a big guy and he ate very well and was never hungry. Absolutely would stay here again if we ever return and would recommend staying here to my friends and family

Jeewa provided great recommendations for things to do in the area, helped organise transport, and even took me on a day trip to Pidurangala and Dambulla in his tuk tuk. The home-cooked meals by Masha were absolutely delicious — a perfect introduction to Sri Lankan cuisine. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Jeewa and Masha truly went above and beyond to take care of their guests. I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Habarana and the surrounding area. We had a wonderful stay at Sweet Home Tourist Rest, Cooking Classes & Tours. The comfort level was top-notch — everything was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully arranged. We were pleasantly surprised to find that our room came with its own living room, making it feel like a full apartment rather than just a guest room. For a very reasonable price, we had a completely private space to ourselves, which we really appreciated. The location is also ideal — the area is peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. A special thanks to Nilukshan, who organized some truly extraordinary tours for us, including the Wilpattu safari, and visits to Anuradhapura and Mihintale. Each one was memorable and perfectly arranged, giving us deep insights into the history and beauty of the region. We also took part in a cooking class conducted by Malsha, which was another highlight of our stay. The class was hands-on, fun, and absolutely delicious — we learned a lot and enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area — it’s more than just accommodation, it’s an experience!

Our stay was magnificent. The host picked us up from train station when we arrived late from Colombo. We easily discussed anything and he also rented us scooter and booked safari tour for us for reasonable price. The room was nice and breakfast just amazing. Definitely recommend for anyone.

The accommodation is stylish and unusual, with a round house and outdoor bathrooms that felt very special. The property is big, green, and full of wildlife. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and listening to the sounds of nature. prepared a barbecue for us one night which was delicious, and the breakfast spread each morning was also excellent. Everything felt very homely, and we appreciated the kindness of everyone. Highly recommend staying here
