The staff are professional, kind, and always willing to assist. I enjoyed both the continental and the traditional Laotian options. Expecting anything beyond this would be unreasonable—it reflects a lack of understanding of Laos, and indeed of much of the world. The hotel is very well located. Vientiane is a small Asian city, and although distances are short, walking during the hotter parts of the day can be exhausting. I chose to go for walks very early in the morning (around 6 am), then return to the hotel for breakfast and a short rest. After that, I always used Loca/Taxi, which was reliable, clean, inexpensive, and safe. Fares - Airport ⇄ hotel: 135–150 000 Kip, Train station ⇄ hotel: 250–300 000 Kip (depending on traffic) Hotel ⇄ city centre/monuments 55 000Kip. I stayed in two different rooms, both of exceptional quality, especially considering the economic context. Everything worked perfectly, and the level of comfort exceeded that of equivalent hotels in Australia or the United States. The manager, Mario, and the night desk officer, Rico, went above and beyond to help me with the booking and to make my stay memorable. If I return, I will certainly stay here again. The most impressive thing about this hotel is how experienced and helpful the front of house staff are, they communicated with us clearly in English which is extremely helpful. They made every process seamless and smooth. Helped up with things both inside and externally to the hotel. I will mention by name: Olieng, Date and Linda. Between the three of them they made our stay amazing. The room was spacious, clean, comfy and cool. Everything in the room worked perfectly and it even had a very high quality TV! We used the restaurant for dinner and it was exquisite. The complementary breakfast was perfect for any and all people as they offer a wide variety of breakfast foods. The pool was refreshing, clean and had complementary towels. Overall our 5/5 in all sections is very much deserved. Would book again.
