It is on a private cove with a mangrove island to protect it. The grounds are manicured, the pool is crystal-clear, and the various lovely eating spaces at garden or tree levels make private dining a possibility. The kitchen is fresh and creative. Moringa pesto was a uniquely delicious dish. The staff are well-trained and run the place efficiently. The hotel's domestic cats and dogs are well cared for, as is an exotic plant nursery. I highly recommend this intimate, stylish, well-run boutique hotel and will definitely go back for more.

In addition to a year-round outdoor pool, the bed and breakfast also offers kids pool and shared lounge. Everything! The property is exactly as described, it's cozy, everything is new, beatifully designed bathroom, modern new windows, impeccably clean, beautiful terrace at the the roof, lovely breakfast area. Everyone was genuinely so kind, Alex and his wife are such nice and helpful people! The spa on premises also is great, has very reasonable prices compared to other touristy locations, and is very professional and soothing. I absolutely recommend getting a massage - it was just what I needed and it was a great massage. On top of all that breakfast was wonderful as well, with an incredibly rich plate of fresh fruit that I absolutely loved, scrambled eggs offered every day and properly brewer strong coffee! I am gluten intolerant and Alex made sure I have gluten free options for breakfast as well. The location is good, a few minute walk to a beach, and walkable to a couple nearby beaches (albeit a little longer walk, but I like to walk - you can easily get a tuk tuk though).

At the bed and breakfast, the units include bed linen and towels. Everything about the stay was amazing . Fantastic welcoming hosts and beautiful fresh breakfasts. No request was too much the whole experience was exceptional. I would highly recommend anyone to stay and will certainly be returning

A very warm welcome from the Managenent Rooms are out of this world, very uniquely designed. Wow A romantic valentines dinner by the pool was special.

Close to center but far enough for quiet and stress free enviroment on the water with fantastic views My second time staying at Mawe and is my go to place in Watamu. If you want a small hotel with all the services you want this is the place....

Kennedy Jr🔝at the reception was So nice and displayed his professional skills ,the buffet at the restaurant was nice with even an inclusion of the african food on tuesday.
