They were most attentive and remained at our disposal throughout the days and nights of our stay. Shiela, Happy,Rosemary and Gakena will live long in our memories of our stay at this oasis. The warmest of smiles and happy to help demeanour will take some beating wherever you stay in the wold. Malindi is a hidden gem and in my opinion this hotel is by far the best in the area. Be sure to try the Hob restaurant which is close by.

The property is exactly as described, it's cozy, everything is new, beatifully designed bathroom, modern new windows, impeccably clean, beautiful terrace at the the roof, lovely breakfast area. Everyone was genuinely so kind, Alex and his wife are such nice and helpful people! The spa on premises also is great, has very reasonable prices compared to other touristy locations, and is very professional and soothing. I absolutely recommend getting a massage - it was just what I needed and it was a great massage. On top of all that breakfast was wonderful as well, with an incredibly rich plate of fresh fruit that I absolutely loved, scrambled eggs offered every day and properly brewer strong coffee! I am gluten intolerant and Alex made sure I have gluten free options for breakfast as well. The location is good, a few minute walk to a beach, and walkable to a couple nearby beaches (albeit a little longer walk, but I like to walk - you can easily get a tuk tuk though).

At the bed and breakfast, the units include bed linen and towels. This was an absolutely magical stay and exceeded all our expectations! The place felt like home the moment we stepped in, everything planned and arranged to the tiniest, impeccable details, the foos out-worldly, and most importantly, the friendliest staff. A 10-star recommendation in all fronts!

It is in a secluded quiet spot with no external noise which makes your stay totally relaxing and calm . The food was delicious and beautifully presented . Cocktails first class!! Staff are attentive and very friendly . Fabulous pool and relaxation areas and wonderful garden . Beautiful view of the sea.

Buffet and continental breakfast options are available at AHG Lion Beach Resort. I loved the location, the vibe, the food- especially the calamari. I loved friendliness of the staff, the pool. They organized entertainment, first night we had acrobats who actually involved the guests . The 2nd night we had a white themed party with cocktails and oldies music. Reaaaaallllyyyy fun!! Florence kept vibing with is and all the other guests to give us a personalized experience. There were many foreigners and as a Kenyan, I felt treated equally, which was refreshing. The staff are attentive, warm, professional and thorough.

Close to center but far enough for quiet and stress free enviroment on the water with fantastic views My second time staying at Mawe and is my go to place in Watamu. If you want a small hotel with all the services you want this is the place....
