The location was out of the way from the Nakasendo Kaido but everything about the hotel was great. The onsen was very nice-the water or whatever was put in the water was great for the skin. At Tokyu Stay Hida Takayama Musubinoyu guests will find a spa and wellness centre and a hot spring bath. Very good location - quite literally next to the train station. Our room was very clean and all the amenities are new. We also enjoyed the top floor balcony view. The onsen was very new and spacious - overall a very enjoyable experience, and highly recommend if you want a convenient stay at Takayama! Also the room we booked has a washing machine (with dryer) which was really cool
