You are within 5 minutes walking distance to pretty much anything in Matera and 2-3 minutes walk to the fabulous restaurant Francesca (we dined there twice it was so fantastic). We also used the spa to get a couples massage and my partner used the water therapies. The front desk staff were fantastic before and during our stay - they really helped us to arrange parking, the shuttle to and from the hotel to our parking spot and other requests we had like booking restaurants for us. A true concierge experience! You will thoroughly enjoy your stay. We will be back!

This was a truly unique & unforgettable experience. The underground pool area exceeds expectations looking much larger than the photos & it is such a peaceful escape from the heat.

There is just a few stairs down but we had backpacks and 1 cabin troller. So it wasn’t any trouble at all. The room is specious and clean. Amazing view from the balcony! The breakfast is nice. And the hostesses are very welcoming and helpful! The floor is stone and there is no sleepers, but pair of socks solve everything ;).

Mario the driver was a big help with driving and our luggage. Sara was a fabulous guide. We loved her. Hotel was beautiful and clean. Would have enjoyed cut up fresh fruit for breakfast. We loved our stay in Matera and Cenobio felt safe and homey. When you travel so far to Italy, it is a wonderful experience to stay at Cenobio because theh welcome you like family. Located in Lavello, 20 km from Castle of Melfi, Moma Hotel Wellness & Spa provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a bar. This 3-star hotel offers luggage storage space. The hotel also features free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. The hotel was clean and very comfortable. The AC was cold and the WiFi fast. We were able to park our car in a lot in front of the hotel or in the underground garage. Best of all, the staff was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend!
