Beautiful ambience seeped in culture. Very thoughtful and welcoming staff - took care of our smallest comforts and details. Special shout out to Sunita from the front office who took care of all our requests and showed us around the property and to Kunal the gate guard - who was super helpful with his knowldge about Kolkata and helped us plan our each day with helpful tips and suggestions!! Everything. The food and beverage manager was wonderful. Felt like home when he chatted. In addition, the receptionists were friendly, well groomed, and presentable. I loved the fact that they were very coordinative and proactive at the highest order. The waiter Ashmith was very helpful in the evening. He is one gem of a person. In addition, Faisal, our breakfast server, was really good with his service, too. Kudos to the waiters, too. Overall the staff was excellent. Would recommend people to house themselves here if they want a complete Calcutta experience.
