Shiv Shakti is a unique and peaceful location outside the hustle and bustle of Tapovan/ Rishikesh. The staff are all very helpful and the home cooked vegetarian food really good. The daily yoga practice was a great way to start the day and the constant sound of running water in the nearby waterfalls very relaxing.

What an amazing experience from check in to check out. The hotel is beautiful. Rooms are spacious and clean. The ambiance is so relaxing with morning flute and beautiful river Ganga behind the hotel. The ghat is perfect for bathing. The nightly Ganga aarti is something you cannot miss. The staff goes above and beyond expectations. We arrived just around 5 pm and the staff quickly got us to Har Ki Pauri aarti. Food was fantastic. Chai was tasty. Special mention to Aashutosh and Disha for their kind attention. Hotel managers were available and ready to assist. Would definitely come back and recommend to anyone considering a trip to haridwar.

Our stay at Veda5 was truly rejuvenating and exceeded expectations in so many ways. The food was outstanding—amazingly varied, consistently healthy, and so delicious that we didn’t even notice the absence of onion and garlic. A special shout-out to Head Chef Devendra, whose care and creativity were evident in every meal. The staff were some of the friendliest we’ve ever encountered, always smiling and eager to help with anything. We thoroughly enjoyed the treatments, and the daily timetable offered a great balance of activities along with genuinely educational sessions. Our room, located on the highest floor, had absolutely sensational views, and the resort itself provided plenty of peaceful spaces to relax. The abundance of beautiful plants and the overall attention to detail added to the charm of the experience. There were, however, a couple of areas that could be improved. The yoga mats provided tended to slide on the floor during standing poses, which felt a bit unsafe, though sticky towels were available to help. Additionally, there was some building work under the studio for two days, which became distracting during classes and ideally could have been paused during those times. Overall, Veda5 is a beautiful, healing place with wonderful people and an atmosphere crafted with care. Despite a few small issues, our experience was overwhelmingly positive, and we would happily return.
