The staff were excellent, especially the Steward on duty at the Clubroom restaurant, who, when pressed, indulged us in historical tales and had a great sense of humour!

The most welcoming, friendly and helpful hosts we ever experienced. Our flight was delayed so we knew we would arrive really late. They notified us way beforehand that there will be plenty of coffee, tea, milk and cereal in the house for breakfast.

A luxury stay from check in to check out. We had a two bedroom lodge which had plenty of room and comfortable beds. Breakfast was delicious, but be warned, it takes some eating so set aside a good amount of time. Staff were super helpful.

We had an executive suite and the room was lovely. Very spacious and clean. Facilities were well kept and the hotel itself was really nice. Saoirse on reception was so professional and accommodating so just wanted to highlight her efforts to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast in Herald and Devoy was really nice.

We stayed in the carriage rooms and they were lovely, comfortable, updated. The spa was particularly nice with a relaxation room, lovely services and a sauna, warm pool, cold dousing shower and steam room. The dinner was lovely Hermione Restaurant, we went back both nights!
Breakfast was very good in the castle 1108 restaurant. They accommodated my gluten and dairy free issues wonderfully.

Love the the interiors and how beautiful everything was. We had an amazing meal in Kathleen's Kitchen followed by an amazing Breakfast the next day. We also had afternoon tea which was gorgeous. I ordered a red velvet cake for my sister and to say it was the best red velvet cake I've ever tasted is an understatement.
We also booked spa treatments which were so relaxing and luxurious. The hotel was incredibly calm and relaxed. No members of staff rushing around, nobody under pressure.
Can't wait to come back.

We stayed in room 1, excellent, spacious room/apartment for anniversaries or honeymoon. Large bedroom, large living room, sauna. Breakfast very good, staff friendly and helpful. Dinner at the Palmer restaurant, again staff was very friendly with a nice smile, magnificent views of the golf course and the lake

We loved the Spa and the Falconry. The spa was one of the nicest I’ve been to in Ireland. The breakfast was delicious and everything food related was very relaxed and easy! The castle itself was beautiful, a stunning location
