We could walk right across the street into the magnificent National Park and walk for hours (and had we wanted to, we could have borrowed the bikes as well). It was simply perfect!

We were able to walk quickly to the town center for shopping, pubbing and visiting local attractions. The hotel restaurants offered delicious food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had several meals there.
