This is a modern hotel on the edge of the lake. The hotel has been completely modernised in recent years - there is nothing to remind visitors of the old hotel except that all rooms have a view of the lake. Our room had a small outside balcony. The 'wellness' facilities (pool etc) are excellent and kept really clean. The meals (included in out stay) were better than expected. Wifi was perfect. An easy walk from the rail & bus station.

The guest-centric and family-friendly hotel is located in the centre of Zalakaros, right next to Zalakaros Thermal and Medicinal Spa.

Great location, amazing villa with all what is needed for the stay. Room was spacious and clean. We enjoyed SPA/ wellness that is available on site . We were not in season, so outdoor pool was not yet available , but in summer time it would be truly a paradise . Host and lady on reception were amazing as well as a cat Cicerone that our son loved that much:-). We really enjoyed our stay.

It is a lovely place. Huge, well maintained park around the castle, very peaceful and green surroundings. We got a free room upgrade so could relax on a 40 sqm terrace :) +16 C, sun and first flowers in the last days of February. The apartment was very comfortable, there was a lot of space in the bathroom. It is not emphasized anywhere on booking site, but there is kind of a daily wellness programme offered for free - stretching, breathe exercises in aroma sauna (wooden sauna house located in the garden!), aqua gym and even painting :) It was not yet allowed to swim in the outdoor pool but I can imagine how lovely that is in summer. The indoor pool is small but nice. During our Hungary trips we noticed the pools there are not designed for swimming but purely for relax, the water in them is therefore very, very warm. We liked both breakfasts and dinners, some typical Hungarian food was offered: pepper sausage, duck leg, goulash soup (luckily we are not vegetarian ;). We prolonged our stay to 3 nights and still did not manage to use all of the facilities as had also some car rides to the Balaton lake and villages around so I think this place can be recommended for at least 1 week vacation.

Food was fantastic: A wide choice of different meals, really fresh salads, perfect pastries. Everything to delight the eyes and the mouth. The area is quiet, suitable for walking. I liked it very much, it was more for older, quiet people. There were very few people and we enjoyed the bathing part of the house.

Everything is excellent in this hotel. Clean rooms and pool areas. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Various tasty food in the hotel restaurant. One of the main reasons why we came back to this hotel is because of the hot outdoor pool. It is apsolutly perfect.
