We stayed at Akre Hotel for 3 nights in July for my bachelorette — a group of 11 girls — and our stay exceeded every expectation! Mrs. Eleni and her team made us feel so special. They even rescheduled their sunset DJ set so we could enjoy it, and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was unforgettable. The views were absolutely stunning — the hotel has prime sunset views! Since it’s a small hotel, it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Breakfast was lovely, and they made sure to set up a long table for our group each morning so we could all dine together. We even used the gym for a group class and enjoyed massages, which were excellent as well! Overall 10/10 I would go back in a heartbeat!

Family-run Ikaros Studios is situated 800 metres from Naxos city and just 300 metres from Agios Georgios Beach. It offers a swimming pool and self-catered, air-conditioned accommodation amidst beautiful gardens. The best hosts I’ve encountered in all my travels. Both bring personality, caring, thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and clearly work hard to provide an experience and a place of which they can be extremely proud. A labour of love for a great couple bearing the fruit for all to enjoy on an island that is relaxed, beautiful and largely unspoilt. Recommendations, car rental help, real advice on what to do on the island, and good conversation can be expected as well as a pristine apartment, lifts to and from the ferry, lemonade on arrival, and a full debrief on all that the island has to offer. Start the day with a rich buffet breakfast on the terrace. Relax around the picturesque pool area and enjoy friendly service from the owners. It was the best stay we could have ever hope for. The stuff was extremely nice. The room was perfectly clean and overall the location had scenery views and was very modern. Also, the breakfast had a lot of fresh and delicious options. We loved it and would definitely come back.
