We booked this place for a Hen party and it was the best choice! The house was amazing and enough room for all of us. The pool and hot tub were well heated and used frequently. The house had everything we needed for an amazing weekend. The host allowed me to visit a week before our booked date so that I could view rooms and decide where to put decor etc and it was so useful to be able to do that! The host was also easily contactable with any questions I had which was really appreciated.

The sauna and hot tub were a personal favourite. We also loved the addition of fresh tulips in the conservatory! It was perfect for our friend's hen party and every detail was thought of. Nancy and Howard replied to messages really quickly if we had any queries, and Howard met us on arrival to show us round. The sofas and beds were incredibly comfortable, and the table extended to fit all 17 of us round. Luckily, we had perfect sunny weather so spent a lot of time outside. There was a few little sun traps to enjoy. Overall a really lovely, clean property and can't recommend enough.

Maisie and Jos (at the front desk) were just wonderful. We arrived late at night and they so warmly welcomed us and got us to our room. The room itself was perfect. The beds were the most comfortable we’ve had since traveling in England. And the darling staff in the club cafe and spa went above and beyond for us.

Mercure Barnsley Tankersley Manor Hotel is located for visiting Barnsley, Sheffield and the Peak District featuring a lounge and a restaurant. This was the 3rd time we had visited this Hotel and we love it every time! It was my partner's birthday and the lady on reception very kindly upgraded us to a Four Poster Room free of charge, which was a lovely surprise and the room was amazing, so thank you again! The Menu had also changed and there seems to be a lot more choice, the food was fantastic too! We will definitely visit again and hopefully soon for my birthday 😊
