The property features a year-round outdoor pool, sauna, hot tub and garden. Our stay at Gáldu was truly magical, from the moment we arrived we were met with such a warm welcome. The staff were so accommodating and friendly, they taught us about Finish and Sami culture which was brilliant. Our room was spotless and had the most amazing views of the forest. The Gáldu team organised excursions for us to do which were fantastic (snowmobiling, ice fishing, husky sledding) and gave us other suggestions about what to do on the days we didn’t have anything booked. The food was exceptional and we went for full board, we were truly spoiled by each person we met. Our beds were so comfortable and we had the most amazing sleep each night. We spent every afternoon enjoying the spa which was extremely luxurious. They really made our trip so special. The hotel is the perfect viewing spot for the northern lights, we saw them so clearly from our bedroom on the last night.

The spa and wellness centre includes a sauna, hot tub and wellness packages. The Valo villa doesn’t come alone, it comes with Tuija. She was extremely well responsive and helped every part of our needs and accommodated things which are not her responsibility. I would def wanna come back with more friends and hope she is there at Valo again.

The location of the cabin is great, with its own parking, which is needed to get to the town center. The house is spacious, the living is beautiful and the kitchen has all the utensils you need (cutting boards, pans and pots,…).

Featuring a sauna, Castillo Vuorsa 3 is set in Saariselka. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Free WiFi is available throughout the property, as well as a terrace and a restaurant. The property also offers accommodation for disabled guests. We stayed in this house for a week. The heating works very well, the beds are comfortable and the blankets are warm. The floors are heated and there are additional radiators in each room. There is also a clear instruction on how to start the fireplace. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, and there is a large refrigerator. Everything was simply wonderful! The hosts replied quickly and were always very helpful and responsive. There is a transfer from Ivalo Airport that drops you off right on the street where the house is located. It’s also very convenient that there is a drying cabinet where you can dry your clothes after being out in the snow. The supermarket is about a 15-minute walk from the house. We would be happy to stay here again! The area is very quiet and peaceful — a perfect place to relax and unwind.

Featuring a sauna, Saariselän Marjamajat Apartment Sopuli is situated in Saariselka. Boasting a minimarket, this property also provides guests with a water park. Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, the non-smoking apartment features a sauna. Cottage was in a calm and safe location. Even though it was advertised as a one bedroom apartment, you have a bunk bed in a 2nd room that was useful. Heating was excellent in the apartment and the Sauna as well. Drying cabinet and the sleds were quite useful. Communication with the Owner Meeri and Maintenance guy, Marko was excellent. Meeri's handbook was useful too.

A great place to stay.
