We were looking for a large, quiet place to spend time together as extended family in the summer. Some of us had to work remotely and the WiFi was very capable of accommodating us, and we enjoyed the cool local weather (the village is at almost 1000 meters of elevation) broke the stereotype of scorching Castilian summers. The landscapes around are gorgeous and we enjoyed running and mountain biking (provided with the house) in the many paths around the village, with absolutely no motor vehicles to break our peace. The history in the neighboring villages are also very interesting and the teenagers and college students amongst us really enjoyed learning about it and watching the impressive medieval structures, some of them over a thousand years old.
