I really liked how it’s overall designed: beautifully looking and comfortable at the same time. It was calm, no loud music, very safe. Beach is within 5 min walking distance. We also enjoyed our breakfast.

There are several large pools and they were never crowded. The beach is very beautiful. Many thanks to the staff of the hotel who made this stay so enjoyable and pleasant. Overall - a great experience.

Boasting an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a terrace, Villavida Boutique Hotel - La Playita is set in Las Galeras and is 200 metres from La Playita Beach. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk and a concierge service for guests. Located in a tranquil zone of Las Galeras town, but very close to La Playita Beach, really walking distance. The hotel itself is comfortable, clean and very well organized. It does not look like a hotel. I felt like I was a guest in a large villa. The room has everything one looks for, new and modern furniture. Bathroom also clean and very functional. There is a kitchen one can use, with its time table usage rules. There is fridge, oven, cook and all utensils required to prepare meals. Also there is a pool and parking lot. The town center is also close, so plenty of restaurants. There is no breakfast service, but there are options at walking distance. The owners and the staff are very welcoming and help with all arrangements for tours and massage service. For sure I would return and recommend Villavida Boutique Hotel. By the way I had a pleasant experience with Naomi, after trekking the 7 Beaches of Las Galeras. She is the owner of Naomi SPA. Strongly recommended also

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Villa Dylan Samana, 3Br with pool is situated in Santa Bárbara de Samaná. This villa features a private pool, a garden, barbecue facilities, free WiFi and free private parking. The accommodation features airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. We slept so comfortably, the beds were great! We loved having two bathrooms. The kitchen was well equiped, though the knives need sharpening. We were able to watch Netflix. The AC was very much appreciated! It's a lovely home and we would definately return. The host, Patricia was very nice and helpful. We had no internet to communicate with her and she had to wait too long for our arrival because we were delayed, and yet she was very gracious about it, and went all through the house with us explaining everything.

The hosts and their team of staff are just very lovely people- there is a sort of old school home away from home feel to the place. The food is just great in that there are plenty of really healthy options- fresh ingredients and home cooked items. They arranged for me to hike with a neighbour- a french lady who has 10 years experience of all the local tracks- on horseback and on foot...it was fabulous. It was great to have hot water and quality towels and bed linen. I really felt very comfortable here as a solo traveller.
