It's such a beautiful place. We were in the main building which was very convenient. The rooms are ok, the pool and jacuzzi are great, breakfast is big and very good. The views are amazing, animals everywhere... It's a great place.

The place is a green oasis of peace and nature. The location is great, and there are a lot of hiking routes at walking distance. Forest noises and colors will keep you company and help you relaxing. The owner is very nice and he will give you good advices if you ask. Great toasts with avocado and eggs for breakfast.

Outstanding stay at Amor Arenal. The property exceeded our expectations and was set in beautiful lush gardens. Each casita is completely private and huge with floor to ceiling windows in the shower looking to the volcano (it was completely clouded over the time we were there unfortunately but still was absolutely fantastic). We did the yoga class both mornings we were there with different instructors each day - both fantastic and it was great to do this in the open air covered studio. The pool area and wet bar were an oasis and when the rain stopped we saw lots of hummingbirds, wild turkeys and a boar! The breakfast included was delicious and healthy and we are both nights in the restaurant - also delicious and without fault! Finally the staff were amazing - friendly, attentive and plentiful. Cannot fault this property and experience, we definitely want to come back!

This place was absolutely wonderful! My fiancee booked a week here in one of the casitas and it was our first time in Costa Rica. It lived up to all of our expectations and we were hugely pleased with our stay. The staff was absolutely lovely and very accommodating when we thought we were going to have a late check-in. We loved the fact that it was a working farm and had some lovely walks around the property including the Cabalonga trail, spotting sloths by the pool, and having leisurely breakfasts watching the birds. The location is also nicely situated, tucked away in the jungle giving a remote feel, while also being a short drive from La Fortuna. We would absolutely go back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a jungle lodge stay that doesn't feel touristy or like a resort.

The hotel and staff were lovely and very helpful. The hotel is in a super central location so you can easily walk anywhere, but it’s set back 2 streets from the Main Street meaning you have peace and quiet at night. Room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast we were served every morning was delicious - my favourite out of all our stays in Costa Rica!
