The location is fabulous - just 1 minute walk from the lake and a short tram ride from the center. But the best is the super friendly staff :)!

At Acasa Suites Zurich Oerlikon guests are welcome to take advantage of a wellness and spa area, with sauna, steam bath and massages. On site is also a library as well as business booths with the latest technical infrastructure, offering a quiet and relaxed working atmosphere. The reception staff specifically Eugeen. This young man bent over backwards to help us with directions, even walking outside to show us which to go. He also took care of my wife who's hair had issues with the conditioner provided by the hotel. Instead of simply saying that's all we have, he made a phone call and there was different conditioner in our room when we returned to the hotel that same day. That conditioner was wonderful. He also had a room set up special for our anniversary. Cannot say enough good about Eugene. Only problem lies in that there are not enough Acasa hotels so when we visit other countries we cannot enjoy the same class of service and wonderful breakfast. Five was a great stay & vibe. Starts from the very friendly and welcoming receptionists. Fanni checked us in and helped escort us to our suite. We stayed on the main building, our Suite was modern, very cosy & spacious two balcony suite with city and nature view. Sadly a-bit too cold to hangout at the balcony. Nice and very clean Bathroom modern shower yet easy to use. That’s a plus. We decided to dine at the casual soul Restaurant while the restaurant at the Penthouse only opens from Wednesday on, food was tasty. William was gentle and very Welcoming at the Restaurant. Breakfast was great here. We definitely coming back loved our stay.

Set on the car-free Uetliberg mountain, surrounded by nature and hiking paths, the award-winning Hotel UTO KULM car-free hideaway in Zurich presents a stylish design with a sauna area and unique views of the city. The hotel is only reachable by train and the ride takes 21 minutes from the Zurich Main Station. This hotel is a great 4 star. It is not anywhere near Zurich. I booked it by mistake but I was offered a discount. Getting to the hotel was hell. They have a temporary buses to get there. Do not trust Google map. Go to the tourist office and get the detail steps to get there. Something missing in Switzerland is the signs. We couldn't locate The EV1 bus stop and walked a mile rolling our luggage. Finally, when you get to Utelberg, Google says walk 8 minutes. No, it was a 30 minutes uphill walk with our luggage. We were exhausted. Here is a tip- call the hotel and they will transport your luggage. The big fuss is that this is a no car zone. So, no taxi no Uber. We stayed here 2 nights- our beginning of our 8 days in Switzerland. I came here to ride the Swiss trains. It was my dream to ride trains. I enjoyed the trains so much.
