The hotel is 600 metres from the First Cable Car Station and lies 100m above the centre of Grindelwald. Its rooms and sun terrace have magnificent views of the surrounding scenery. It also features a unique spa area in the goats' stable. The view from the room was absolutely breathtaking — direct, uninterrupted sights of the Eiger and the surrounding valley, just like a postcard. The location is peaceful and perfectly placed, with a nearby bus stop and a footpath leading to the train station. The room was clean, spacious, and cozy, with a comfy bed, good pillows (better than most hotels), and all essentials like a coffee machine, kettle, hair dryer, and safe — although no minibar. A nice surprise was the welcome packet of mixed nuts in the room — one of the most delicious we’ve had! Breakfast had a good variety and tasted great, definitely better than some other hotels we stayed at. The dinner at the hotel restaurant was lovely too — we had fondue, and the staff made the experience even better by explaining everything kindly. All staff were super friendly and welcoming, especially Lena at the reception, who made us feel right at home. Also appreciated the lunch packets for early excursions and the clear, easy-to-follow check-in instructions.

All rooms in the ARCA Solebad Wellness & Spa have a balcony with mountain views and the south-facing rooms offer Matterhorn views. They all come with a kitchenette. Breakfast is served every morning.

The heated brine swimming pool (34°C), the steam bath and the sauna are perfect places to unwind after a day of skiing or hiking. Our guests are more than welcome to take advantage of the wellness and pool on the day of arrival (before check-in time) and departure (after check-out time). On request and for an extra charge, massages can be organised, as well. The room had a great view which allowed us to see the Matterhorn as well as nearby mountains. The check-in staff ( Karen) was responsible for upgrading our room so that we had such visibility from our balcony. Karen also accommodated us by keeping our luggage since we arrived early. We travelled to 5 cities in Switzerland as a party of 4. We all agreed that our stay in Zermatt at Hotel Arcxa Soilebad & Spa was our favorite!

Situated close to the ski lifts in Zermatt, Alpen Resort & Spa features a restaurant, and spacious rooms with cable TV. WiFi in the entire building and transport from Zermatt Train Station from 07:00 o'clock to 21:00 o'clock are both offered for free. There is also an outdoor tennis court on site . Everything from the staff to the accommodation itself. We had the majestic view of the Matterhorn from our family room.

For the well-being and peace of mind of our guests, certain areas and time slots are reserved with access for adults only. The garden features sun terraces, a play area and the summer restaurant "Grotto al Sasso", serving traditional Ticino cuisine. Big and comfortable room with an amazing view. The staff were very polite and helpful. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were great, very tasty.

Centrally located in Zermatt, 300 metres from the train station, Hotel Walliserhof Zermatt is built in typical Valais chalet style and offers a spa area with sauna and a hot tub. Free WiFi is available in all areas. Easy walk from train station to hotel. Beautifully decorated lobby, luggage storage, large breakfast selection. Room had access to a deck. Clean and comfortable. Good water pressure. Free mini spa in basement.
