Everything was perfect. such an unbelievable experience for families and couples. Extremely welcoming staff and great facilities.

Situated 450 metres above Lake Lucerne on the Bürgenberg mountain, in the Bürgenstock Resort, the Waldhotel by Bürgenstock was designed by star architect Matteo Thun and features the Waldhotel Spa and Verbena Restaurant with its own bar on site. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property. Wonderful staff at Waldhotel, especially those in the restaurant are very attentive to our needs and requests. Excellent food at Verbena restaurant, both in terms of quality, taste and presentation. It started to snow the day we arrived. The Burgenstock turned into a winter wonderland with spectacular views. Great spa. It was a treat to appreciate the snow falling while enjoying the hot outdoor pool:-) Free tickets for the furnicular and boat to Lucerne was a plus.

Air-condition is available with additional charge After staying in Grindelwald which is full of “pictures hunting” loud tourist groups a stay in this hotel was like a paradise. No one with selfie sticks, no loud people taking a pictures everywhere including wellness area. The hotel is clean, quiet, close to the railway station. We had a sea view double room with a balcony and it was a perfect choice - the view was amazing and siting at a balcony and watching a lake was a perfect relax. Nice swimming pool with warm water, clean saunas and comfortable sunbeds by the lake, where is possible to swim. Nice breakfast with plenty of choice, especialy Swiss cheese were amazing. Hotel has a restaurant which isn’t the best restaurant we have ever visited but It´s normal good restaurant with prices similar to the other places in Switzerland, the Coop market is on the other site of the road, just cross the street, train station less than 10 minutes walk

During summer, also the tennis court in the village can be used free of charge. Had a wonderful stay with stunning views of the hills. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Enjoyed a delicious breakfast while taking in the beautiful scenery. Highly recommend this place!

The Resort features its own Kids Club, which welcomes children between 3 - 12 years of age. Perfection! All is perfect, the location, the place, the hotel, the restaurants, the view and most of it the staff. Everyone is kind, professional and super helpful. Food is great, SPA is awesome and the view is pefect. Incredible experience.
