I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Hotel Zeit & Traum, and I must say, it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. I've stayed in hotels across nearly 40 countries, and this one easily ranks in my top three. The hotel itself is immaculately clean and beautifully designed, but what truly sets it apart is the breathtaking view overlooking the lake—simply stunning. While the location itself may not be the most central, the incredible view more than makes up for it. You truly feel like you're in a tranquil, scenic paradise. However, the most memorable part of my stay was the warmth and hospitality of the staff. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable. Their genuine smiles, constant attentiveness, and eagerness to help made our experience unforgettable. Free WiFi access is provided in public areas. We stayed in the guard tower room, which is a bit different from most of the rooms in the hotel. It's right above the castle gate, with windows on 3 sides, but since the walls are 70cm thick and made of stone, it's very well insulated from noise. The conveniences/electrical system were slightly constrained by the fact that we were surrounded by thick stone, but they nonethless did a great job of making a beautiful, comfortable, and engagingly quirky room. Breakfast was also exceptional, with some of the best bread and pastry I've had in Switzerland.

The hotel is amazing and the views too. The staff was amazing too. The spa was complimentary. Nothing to fault if you're staying in Grindlewald this is worth the price tag.

The staff were amazing - friendly, helpful, and even looked cheerful. Food was awesome. Both the breakfast and dinner were very good. I was surprised at the nice service during breakfast. The fact that you can eat and enjoy the view at the same time was a huge plus. The room was clean and pleasant. Shower was amazing with very strong water pressure and warm/hot water. And the spa! I have never experienced such a pleasant and spectacular spa. They had so many options - the jacuzzi, hot tub, dry sauna, wet sauna, etc. Definitely coming back for the spa. You can even enjoy the scenery during the spa. The view! Probably one of the most beautiful views even in the whole Switzerland. The Blausee lake is right in front of the hotel. A special shoutout to Peter! You were truly helpful and the hotel gave me another reason to come back to Switzerland. Hope to see you again soon!
