Hotel Märthof Basel features a fitness centre, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Basel. Each accommodation at the 4-star hotel has city views, and guests can enjoy access to a sauna and a hammam. The accommodation provides room service, a 24-hour front desk and currency exchange for guests. Perfect location in the very center of central Basel, right on the Marktplatz. This is now my go-to hotel for whenever business or leisure travel takes me through this part of the world. Fabulously friendly and attentive staff, a super cafe (popular with locals as well as guests: you're going to need to book if you want to have Sunday brunch there...), and very comfy beds with the most comfortable pillows I've ever slept on in a Swiss or German hotel. HIGHLY recommended and worth the price.

My husband and I love this hotel. It's in an easy-to-get-to location, right off the highway. The staff is always delightful and welcoming. This is our go-to hotel in Basel.

Enjoying a quiet location in the heart of Basel, the Radisson Blu Basel Hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the central train station and features a great indoor pool.
It takes you only 10 minutes by tram to reach the fairgrounds and the congress centre. The EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg is 8 km away. The zoo, the town hall, the theatre, the concert hall and other city attractions are within easy walking distance.
The location is convenient for reaching the train station and city centre areas. There are tram services just outside the hotel. The swimming pool is of a good size for a proper swim. The fitness centre is adequately equipped. The staff are friendly and helpful

Very chic and modern hotel! The gym was amazing with this wooden equipment, also the sauna was a perfect addition to relax and unwind. Room was quite and the bed was comfy! The working space with extra beverages included and a jazz music as a background was a very cool place to chill!

Lovef the building, my bedroom with its huge window, the lounge/ breakfast area, and area at the back. Very spacious rooms (in sharp contrast with most hostels). Nice staff when I saw them and the breakfast was good - decent choice of good quality stuff e.g. lovely bread, choice of fresh fruit, home made granola. Plenty of clean, decently sized shower facilities, with several hooks etc.

- Secure and convenient parking. - Very clean, comfortable and spacious room with a lovely bed. - Nice touches throughout the hotel and a well designed gym and sauna. - Delicious food - the nomad burger and pork gyozas were great for dinner and the breakfast buffet has lots of options and is really good value. Service was also excellent and staff very friendly.

The design of the place is amazing, very modern, yet respectful for the history of the place, with carefully selected and high quality details. The double room that we used is spacious and convenient. The staff was super friendly and helpful, ready to provide all sorts of information, also after the official hours. We really enjoyed the breakfast - tasty and in nice, relaxed atmosphere.

A nice stay! Spacious and cleaning family room. Good location at a garden. Traffic is easy，only three bus stops from Basel SBB station. We arrived early before the check in time， staff warmly put our Luggage down and introduce us city spots，gift visit card，so we have a relax city walk. Breakfast is delicious.

Good hotel with a proper breakfast, spacious rooms, modern interior and above all a very good gym: lot's of equipment, good space, sauna in the locker room. Location is fine - very central. So all-in-all a great place to stay.
