Spectacular view from the room balcony and the breakfast terrace. Nice relaxed atmosphere, nice breakfast and very pleasant and knowledgeable staff. Very comfortable bed, clean and well maintained room.

Sylvio is very welcoming and he has a nice dog. The house itself is really beautiful, with nice spaces and artworks made by Sylvio himself. It was a quiet, relaxed stay. Nice dog on the property. Location was good, a short walk away from the main streets. The whole island is very safe.

Most gorgeous little pousada surrounded by lovely greenery. Owners have really put in effort to make the place eco friendly. We booked a chalet and it was beautifully decorated. And the hammock outside was a nice touch to relax after a long day ! Breakfast was good.

Everything was just perfect. Lovely room, lovely view, the staff were all so lovely and friendly. Beautiful breakfast, location was perfect, right on the beach. Very safe, you could still walk on the beach after dark even as a single woman. I certainly wouldn’t do that in central Rio de Janeiro. Ancoradouro was very central to the shops, the many restaurants and bars. It was sooo nice and peaceful and relaxing with plenty to do at the same time!!! Thank you so much

Amazing property in a quiet area of town, but still a 5 minutes walk to the main street. The room was spacious and clean and had fantastic views of the sea. The staff were super kind and helpful and the breakfast was AMAZING! Fresh fruits and juices, eggs and a huge variety of homemade cakes, cheese... all served in a beautiful garden, with macacos having breakfast with us every morning :)

Leandro is an absolute legend and the nicest guy who is so passionate about the island and making sure people enjoy it. He also went out of his way to help when I got sick. The gardens were lovely to relax in, and the room is clean and spacious. Highly recommend to anyone!!

The views from the rooms are out of this world! We loved the hosts (Stella & Stephanie) who booked us a full island boat tour and gave great tips for activities. They were angels and the breakfast was delicious too on a lovely deck overlooking the ocean. Amazing room, spacious and comfy and with a big shower. Quiet area away from the noise of the town at night. I also had an amazing waterfront massage at the hotel which was very relaxing!
