Newly renovated hotel with lovely alpine style! The rooms are spacious, and fashioned with elegant wood. The spa is great with a nice outdoor pool from which you can see the mountains. This is an overall 'brilliant hotel-chalet' situated in a very beautiful valley of the Vorarlberg State. We have been visiting a lot of family hotels, but this 'Berghaus Schröcken' is simply the best we have ever stayed in. Especially the people working there are so different to other hotels or resorts: they have a smile on their face and you can see that they love doing their job... It's definitely a great place to stay for a family wanting to spend some days in the Austrian Alps, doing some biking, discovering the great nature of the Bregenzerwald...

The hotel was outstanding in every respect - the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and the facilities were perfect for us. It also helped that the snow was incredible and it couldn’t have been easier to get onto the slopes, a daily ski to Lech, Zurs, and even across to St Anton. The packed lunch on our departure day (early start) was also very thoughtful!

This is a great place! Beautiful location, and the staff takes excellent care of it. Clean modern rooms with nice views. The restaurant offers several options for dinner and all of excellent taste. Local products are used. Great advice from the sommeliere for Austrian wines. Excellent breakfast. Huge spa area, swimming pool and garden. Hiking, biking, sightseeing - lots of options nearby. Staff is polite, friendly and well-trained.
