I asked for an extra bed for my 4 years old son. Not only I was not charged for it, we also had a room much bigger than expected (and that we used to have in our previous stay). With two kids in the room that was amazing! Kids had place to move around even when we were in the room. The staff was always nice and accomodating. This is very mucg appreciated always, but with a 1-year-old that is in the phase of throwing food on the floor, it is appreciated even more! The spa is nice. There are a lot of different options. The food is excellent. The staff is great! There are big bowls with apples at the receptions, and the guests can take an apple from there. I found this small detail very generous and touching. Thanks a lot for our amazing stay. Everyone from our family was happy: kids, us, grandfathers and grandmothers.

The family-run 4-star Naturhotel Bauernhofer is set in a quiet location on 1,132 metres above sea level on the Brandlucken, amidst the Almenland Nature Park. The property was amazing and the staff went above and beyond. The Pools and saunas were great and we had fantastic massages. The food was incredible.

It is a very quiet and nice place. A staff member was still on duty when we arrived before midnight. She was very helpful. Breakfast is good with a free champagne. Good value for money.

The Mönichwalderhof enjoys a scenic location in Mönichwald in Eastern Styria. It offers a spa area with an indoor pool, and a large garden with a children’s playground. The food was excellent even for a someone with celiac. Super friendly staff! Clean big room in a beautiful village in the forest.

Surrounded by the orchards and hills of the Pöllau Valley Nature Reserve, RETTER Bio-Natur-Resort is located in the scenic East Styrian hill country. The hotel left a truly wonderful impression — from the overall atmosphere to the thoughtful design and philosophy of the place. You can really feel the care for guests and the professionalism of the staff. Breakfasts and dinners were delicious, varied, and beautifully presented. The only thing we missed was a bit more space in the textile-free area — it felt smaller than expected and didn’t provide the full sense of relaxation. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back, hopefully when this area becomes more spacious.
