A perfect location if you are looking for a peaceful place with a breathtaking view of the lake. Chalet Lax is very spacious and comfortable for 7 people. Several ski areas are in reach under 40 minutes by car. The closest is Goldeck, around 20 minutes. Small one, but enough snow with a winter feeling even when others are just white stripes on green meadows. The last 6km are on a local narrow road, but no issues even with miniVAN. No issues with parking. The ceiling in the upper rooms is a little bit low, but not an issue for the bedrooms.

Superb, very nice hotel, everything was perfect, breakfast was the best ( other reviewrs were right) . But pools in the hotel were just great, garden is little oaza,it was very nice. Parade around the lake super, restaurants, ice cream, paddle boards- few minutes from the hotel.

Absolutely fantastic very special hotel situated right on the lake shore with breathtaking view, authentic design - you feel like you step into museum, amazing atmosphere, I would call it “boutique” hotel. Fortunately we got the same room where once the younger brother of the Austrian emperor Franz Joseph I stayed! Great staff, kind, friendly and helpful! Delicious breakfast offering even sparkling wine! We enjoyed sauna and steam bath following lake swim as well. Highly recommended!
