Awesome hotel with everything you need for your stay in El Chalten. We ate every meal in El Chalten here, both the restaurant and the bar are great. Staff were lovely and attentive, waiters asked us about our hikes. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable, with great heating and a good spa. You can organise lunches for the hikes which was filling and delicious.

Fabulous staff, spa and indoor pool. Beds are big and comfortable! It has all the comforts given its remoteness and though the cost of food is elevated, the quality was outstanding. Great water pressure and stunning vantage points. Awesome morning breakfast spread was quite the value. Even though it’s far from the center, most hotels are spread out in general and because of its location, you can get picked up last and brought back first when going on some tours :) There’s a pretty lakefront walk that will take you into town scenically if you’re up for the long walk!

Lagos Del Calafate 4-star hotel is located in the city of El Calafate, at the base of Cerro Calafate with incomparable views to Argentinian Lake and only 100mts. from Av. I have stayed here twice now. The spa and pool are a plus. The rooms are nice and the hotel is well staffed. Breakfast was good but not great.

Very clean and good service. We were confused by some of the negative reviews and realized that some of the older reviews seem to be from another hotel that was under and new management.

Situated close to Lake Argentino and surrounded by woods and mountains, this 4-star hotel in Calafate provides cosy, well-equipped rooms and a restaurant serving local cuisine. All the people at the reception were lovley and really helpful

The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. We loved that the rooms had a really nice temperature and floor heating. Breakfast was the best we have had on our trio so far and we can recommend that you take dinner at the restaurant as well. Food, service and view was amazing there.
