The outside is a nice looking place but the inside is completely covered in graffiti, not bad but very distracting. Even the old bed frames are covered. The room was astonishingly bare. As the cheapest place in Rioja, he gets away with charging over 19,000 pesos, which is very expensive for a hostel. The room had no windows and was very dark and stifling. I slept with the lights on and an eye mask. I arrived at 2330 and left at 6am. I couldn't bear to stay a 2nd night.

great location, very central to walk to all locations. The town is quite small so easy to get around. wifi is solid air conditioners worked perfectly, was a hot 37 on the day we stayed so this was well received. Mark was easy to contact on whatsapp and responded quickly, he was great at flexing with my terrible spanish.

We loved our stay in Villa Union.The place was spacious spotless and really comfortable. It is also suitable for a longer stay as it has pretty much everything you need, and room to relax. We also liked the secure covered parking. The hosts are really helpful and gave us lots of information to help us book onto trips for Ishigualasto and Talampaya National Parks (with pick up from the house). English also spoken :-) .

We arrived late and were greeted by friendly staff. The property was sparking clean and the pool was beautiful. You get a lovely view of the sun on the mountains at sunrise! Thank you, would return again if in the area.

We arrived late but where met by the host "luis" who was very friendly. The house was amazing and the location is like a slice of heaven. We got great dining advice. The pool is fun. I believe it to be one of the best stays we had in argentina and would recommend it to everyone who enjoys a relaxing and peaceful environment.
