Every meal was a delightful experience, from the breakfast buffet to the gourmet dinner options. The combination of great food and a soothing spa made my stay incredibly enjoyable. The luxurious Xheko Imperial Hotel boasts a location in the very centre of Tirana, close to the big park. The Carlsberg Restaurant serves Albanian and Italian specialties and features a rooftop terrace, while the wine bar offers a wide selection of local wines. I’m giving five stars because the staff was really kind but honestly I have to mention they did not pay attention to detail at all. I had emailed the property at least eight times to pick me up at the airport specifically with the sign and when I arrived at the airport I looked everywhere for 45 minutes and had to take a separate taxi. The point was I wanted to sign with my name for my travel agency and my journals. Also, this was my 88th country. I’m writing a travel book and they did not even put a note in the room Saying congratulations on your 88th country had specifically requested at least eight times and when I arrived there was nothing in the room so I was really disappointed for these two topics because I was really looking forward to photographing it, including it in my daily journals for 10,000 followers and clients to see…. Very disappointing after 8 emails that 1. nobody was at the airport with a sign with my name on it, 2. no amenity nor card in the room regarding my 88th country for my travel book and 10,000 followers and clients to see and nobody at the front desk could recommend tours I spent over $300 for tours with a taxi driver...

Beautiful boutique hotel in fantastic location for walking to the main sights of Tirana. Exceptionally comfortable bed, silent aircon and nice bathroom with lots of extras like dental kit and other toiletries. The breakfast was the best in the whole month long trip around Montenegro and Albania and is served in a very attractive upstairs restaurant with rooftop terrace. The staff were really friendly and helpful, booking restaurants for us and organising a reasonable price for a taxi to Himare. This was the best hotel we stayed at in Albania and would definitely book again if coming to Tirana. It’s also near the best restaurant we went to in Albania- Bati 2 which was a fantastic fish restaurant and reasonably priced.
