The experience was top class from start to finish. The facilities and food were excellent - the staff were professional and great at looking after us all. But by far what made our experience so special was our driver Mary and Tracker Michael. They were the dream team who took such care and attention to show us the wonderful wildlife, share information, answer our endless questions and ensure we got to see all the big five, most of the ugly five and lots more! They are amazing at what they do and it’s thanks to them we went home so content - Kampama is a very special safari experience. I can’t recommend it highly enough

Our stay at Moditlo far surpassed our expectations in all aspects of the experience. Beautiful and tranquil luxury lodge with a friendly vibe from attentive, courteous and accommodating staff. Excellent food in Boma fireside setting as well as outdoor dining area. Lovely, ultra-comfortable accommodation with frequent visits from gentle nyala rummaging in the grass and entertaining monkeys. Game drives were expertly guided by Jika and his tracker, Caswell. We saw the Big 5 within the first 2 drives! Enjoyed lounging, relaxing and cooling off by the spacious pool between drives. Not a single complaint about our stay at Moditlo.

What can I see about this perfect place. First, the house is amazing and decorated with taste. You will enjoy the confort of your own house with a full service ! And then the staff : incredible. Everything. Room was brilliant with modern, beautiful fixtures. Stunning views. Staff were amazing. The game drives were out of this world. Seriously, couldn’t have been better.

A lovely, vibrant, and gorgeous boutique hotel. The rooms were very clean, spacious, beautiful decor with wonderful quality linen and furniture! The pool was refreshing on a hot summers day, and was so inviting. The duty managers were very welcoming and helpful in booking activities for us in and around Hoedspruit. The hotel is very central, and is within close proximity to excellent restaurants, as well as many private game reserves with options of Morning and evening safaris of which the hotel will arrange and book on your behalf. There are also many other activities to do within and around Hoedspruit. Would definitely recommend, and can't wait for our return! Thank you Khiwane, and your lovely team. Lastly, our breakfast included in our stay at the Harvest House Restaraunt was divine! 10/10, with many options.

We thought we were only going to crash for a night after a long flight and before starting a safari the next day, but we were absolutely mind blown by how amazing everything was. Perfect location in the middle of what is called "Wildlife Estate" which gives you a chance to see wild animals strolling nearby (we almost saw all the same animals we saw on the safari strolling around the lodge), this is an astounding place with a beautiful room which makes you feel you're in a dream! Last but not least - Ruan and Jenny were very friendly and informative on things to do, and even gave us recommendations about Cape Town which was our next stop. For a small fee, we pre-arranged dinner (which was delicious and cooked by one of their chefs) and transfer from the Hoedspruit airport as well. Communication was easy and Ruan was very responsive. It was such a shame that we only spent one night - had we known how calm and beautiful it all was, we would have 100% extended our stay. So sad to have left but I rave about it. There couldn't have been a more perfect welcome to South Africa.
