Wonderful staff, newly renovated restaurant and common areas and clean rooms. Friendly rangers and peaceful location with amazing views towards majestic mountains.

Our stay in the wildside safari camp was amazing. The staff and all rangers were very kind. The camp itself is located in the middle of the national park - uncaged - what makes it even more special. We would recommend it to everyone who searches for an authentic, natural experience in the wild. See you next time!

Everything!! The location is so beautiful. The accommodation is outstanding, the experiences they offer are amazing, but most of all, the team at Lichenry are exceptional. They make you feel at home right away. The service is more than 5 star. They make you feel so comfortable. And the food, simply out of this world. Richard is the lynchpin to this phenomenal operation of great service and conservation. He is so knowledgeable about the animals and a fantastic guide and Ranger. Patrick at Front of House makes sure everything is perfect for guests and Doubt, makes sure you are watered and fed with grace and amazing service and humour . I can't say enough about the amazing chef.. The food is as good as any Michelin star restaurant in London. This is a gem of a place that has been hidden too long from the UK traveller to South Africa. It is so with the 2.5 hour drive from Johannesburg. This is South Africa at its best.

Sambane Game Lodge is a place I can recommend if you want to have a great stay off the grid. The staff is making you feel at home. The lodge is very ice and also the restaurant is really good!
