Idyllic, serene, luxurious island resort with incredibly friendly staff, from the General Manager, Mr. Serrour and our host, Samuela, all the way down; all of whom went above and beyond to make our stay uniquely personal, memorable, enjoyable and relaxing. Some of the most fantastic Sunsets to enjoy as well. This all truly made it a one-of-a-kind stay and one we'll never forget surpassing all our expectations. Great choice of restaurants and food led by the amazing executive chef - Chef Giovanni, who was kind enough to create some incredible dining experiences for us. The Swahili breakfast is a must try. Also a special mention to Ju and William as well. Sad to leave and definitely hope to visit again sooner rather than later - I couldn't recommend a stay here enough! Thank you to all at Bawe - we wish you all the very best going forward!

All was great and very welcoming! We arrived late at night after a flight, The hotel is really close to the airport which is really really convenient to who need to stay the night between flights. we stayed with 2 little girls and there is a small playground which was great for the girls to take out some energy after the flight.

Everything, this place is full of history and stunning. The staff are incredibly attentive and so nice, very professional, one of the best service I experienced. The room are authentic and clean. The facilities are just spot on. The breakfast really good with magical chef that make the show with the omelet! Well I will definitely come back for vacation the full familly.

Everything!! This hotel was an oasis. Beautiful, clean room with air conditioning and mosquito net over the old Zanzibar bed. Own bathroom with shampoo, body wash and body lotion and a Zanzibar spice soap for hands. Nice small pool to take a swim in. Amazing, helpful staff!!! Beautiful, tranquil garden to chill in. Delicious breakfast with coffee, fresh fruits, fresh juice and a choice of eggs, pancakes, yoghurt (I had it all...). There was nothing that could have been better at this place. I wish I could have stayed a week.

The hotel was at the perfect central location in Stone Town. Almost everything we wanted to visit was an easy 10 minute walk. The hotel management decided to upgrade our room to a better one since it was our anniversary and it was an amazing room too with a cute swan made out of towels.
