Wonderfull services, nice people and definitely worth visiting

Everything, and the hostests are kind and great people

Delicious breakfast, exceptional dinner and an infinite pool. For breakfast, you could choose from 5-6 warm meals (eggs, French toast, asparagus..) and a cold buffet (from cereals, croissants and local cheese to pastel de nata). The portions from the menu were smaller but in combination with the cold buffet, the breakfast was just awesome! We stayed in the with the "garden view ", however we could still see and hear the sea. The view was stunning.

Outstanding breakfeast och pool area. The dinner restaurant was also excelent. Ther was a cosy fire place in the evening and they made their own cider:) This is a place to relax after a long day in the mountains or out on sightseeing.

Probably the best Hotel we've ever stayed on. Spacious, very comfortable, Beautiful sea view from the window, huge swimming pool, multiple restaurants on site and amazing breakfast

When I realized I had forgotten my phone charger at my hotel in Lisbon and started to panic, the staff kindly let me use the reception area to charge my phone. I was truly saved — I do really thank the wonderful female staff member enough for her kindness!

Probably the comfiest hotel bed we've ever slept in - the quality of the sheets, matress and pillows was incredible. we got a free upgrade to a suite, the room was enormous and beautiful, with a freestanding bathtub. Breakfast was delicious, the hotel design was very fun. Beautiful rooftop pool and bar. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Would love to go back!

The location is just stunning. The Maisonette Suites have everything you look for. Shower & toilet on both floors, 2 nice terraces. The infinity pool has always lots of free sunbeds & is so beautiful. The staff is very helpful and natural. They have fun working and it leads to great interactions. The Avista Restaurant is just spectacular. The food (breakfasts & dinners) mindblowing. The views on the Atlantic above the cliff - no words. We will be back! 100%. Thank you for a great week.

Great location, breakfast, staff, rooms… No complaints, thank you! Pool opening times could be longer to accommodate people returning from trips.

The residence is a part of Vila Porto Mare resort, consist on 3 hotels with beautiful rich gardens and large nice pools. The apartment was very spacious with a lovely terrace and view to the garden, well equipped with all we need in the kitchen and bathroom. Very clean and maintained apartment, daily housekeeping, Strong wi-fi, very large and comfortable beds, quite and calm. 10 of 10 for the apartment. The area od the gardens and pools are really magnificent, both in day and night, you can't stop wandering around and look everywhere. Very nice view of the sea. The staff in reception always very kind, smiley, friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were excellent, rich, tasty, varied and fresh with all that you may ask for breakfast buffet. Good location outside the center of Funchal, close to the beach, the Lido and with many restaurants in the In the immediate vicinity. We used Bolt to travel to the center of Funchal or to close restaurants. There is a big supermarket near the complex and it is very convenient. We had a rented car and there was no problem to find parking place outside the hotel. The only downside is that we had only 4 nights and not more. Next time in Madeira, we surely return to the residence, for more nights. Great place for couples and for families with kids in all ages. Again, the areas of the pools and gardens are amazing. The Residence is really highly recommended place for all its components – The Apartment, The staff, the public area, the pools, gardens, the breakfast, the location and the total maintenance and appearance of the resort.
