The stuff is very nice and attentive. The breakfast is very good. Great location to stay away from noisy streets and to relax listening to birds singing.

The staff were so kind, helpful and welcoming. They had a large group in for a Christmas function and still went out of their way to accommodate us and our needs. I have stayed twice at this hotel and it will continue to be my first choice, when visiting Coimbra.

A wonderful hotel in a beautiful historic building with a beautiful garden. We regret that we didn't have time to use the pools. We regret that we only stayed two nights. Delicious breakfasts. Wonderful dinners in the hotel restaurant. A good location for exploring Aldeas de Xistó, Coimbra, and Luso. Ample, free parking with easy access, bordering the hotel garden (it's worth unloading your luggage at reception and then parking). Perfectly clean and well-appointed rooms. Comfortable beds. We recommended it to friends who also want to explore central Portugal. We would gladly return ourselves. The hotel is 4 stars, but we felt it felt like a 5.

We really Loved it. Perfect for a night or 2 if you are passing nearby. The service we got from the receptionist and the dinner chef was more than expected, especially the out-of-menu dishes they made for our kids. Really appreciate the effort done for us. Room is exactly needed size with comfortable beds and balcony with a view. Outdoor and indoor pools and , lovely spa. Thank you for a wonderful short stay. wish we could have stayed another night
