Such a great surprise. Everything was very well managed. The hotel is excellent, the facilities are very new, the king room is perfect, and the service was amazing. Thank you so much, Ana! You made our experience not only at the hotel but also in Chaves so much better. The location is also a must — Chaves is not big, but the hotel is very central, which allows you to reach everything within walking distance. The breakfast was great, very diverse and with fresh fruit. The spa is not too big, but I found it just perfect since you need to book in advance (10€ per person per time slot), which reduces the chance of it being overcrowded. There are three shifts available during the day, and you need to choose one (or multiple). Massages are also available (they need to be paid separately).

Hotel Casino Chaves features an in-house casino with table games and 300 slot machines, a restaurant with views of the mountains and 3 bars. The hotel is a 5-minute drive from Chaves’s town centre.

The welcome was lovely. The location - extremely quiet with fantastic views and ample on-site outdoor parking with no height restrictions. The rooms were spacious and clean with a huge outdoor terrace area. There was an on-site restaurant and bar. I would recommend both the food and wine as they were both fantastic. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, especially the young waiter in the restaurant who couldn't have been any more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and definitely good value for money.

Daniella was a superb host. Nothing was too much trouble and was available to help if needed. The room was exceptional with a beautiful terrace looking over the wonderful landscape. The queen size bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very nice. There was even an extra room separate from the bedroom to sit comfortably. Can't fault the accommodation at all and a good selection for breakfast with homemade jams and cakes.

Localation is in a very small village about 5 miles from Chaves. Lovely building set on beautiful gardens and with a swimming pool. The breakfast served is wonderful and the dinning room is amazing. We were totally impressed with the welcome we had and the level of service. The kindness shown to us was execptional and this was very much appreciated. This hotel is highly recomended and well worth its high rating on Bookig.com If you are going to this area then this is the place tio stay.
