Beautiful location near cute town of Amarante which is charming with good restaurant offerings. The staff is fantastic, professional and focused on quality service and comfort. Highly recommend having car access and be prepared to drive a but for trips into the valley. We liked being in the beautiful town of Penafiel to visit our relatives. I liked the hotel, pool and staff. It was interesting that different football teams came to stay. Being from the UK it was good that we had parking available too.
