NIce outdoors spaces very well equipped. Beautiful walkway next to a small river for a short walk around the estate. Owner's amazing collection of old antiques cars, motor bikes etc on display. A scenic train ride that follows the banks of the River Douro is very much suggested.

A beautiful birthday present location. As a surprise the management gave a choclate cake, a candle and a bottle of cold white wine in the room. A real party treath.

We liked being in the beautiful town of Penafiel to visit our relatives. I liked the hotel, pool and staff. It was interesting that different football teams came to stay. Being from the UK it was good that we had parking available too.
