Staff are very professional special thanks to Manager who know more than deserves his job due to great experience Mr. Paul, I would also like thank head chef Alagiyawanna for the great food and service provided during our stay. Other staff I can’t thank enough are Tuan and I think his name was Fazal/Fizal? Also thanks to Irufaan for great service beyond what’s expected. Not least the housekeeping staff. "Velaa Vani" is a fantastic place to stay. Situated on Dhifushi island, right on the beautiful beach with palm trees, where the sunsets can be pictured. The hosts have been very kind and welcoming, helping with everything needed. The hotel is brand new, the room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The hosts are offering laundry service, they have a shot and a restaurant on the beach and just in front of the hotel there is the office of a tour company that is organising all kind of boat trips, fishes, turtles, dolphins, sharks etc... We took a few boat trips, as our most favourite was the sandbank trip, visiting a tiny sandy beach island.

The staff makes everything easy! The take care of your belongings and make sure you have all you need from airport to hotel. Room was big enough and bed comfortable, location is great and good food. Breakfast just exact, served in buffet, lunch and dinner with a satisfying menu with local and international dishes.

Very friendly staff, very helpful and smiley. Close to the most beautiful beach on the island. They provide sun bed for free. There is also a spa with a Balinese girl who will take care of you magnificently. If you choose the room with the balcony you will enjoy a wonderful view. You will never regret it. It is really a plus. Food is very affordable and also cook on order. You can enjoy breakfast with an amazing view. This small hotel is a great choice if you look for a simple easy going stay on a Maldivian island.

So kind staff aways with a smile every day. We will come back next time. Our waiter was so kind and professional. Food was tasty even for our child. The manager of the hostel responds directly.... Some tips... book your speed boat from hotel so you will avoid extra charges. Also I suggest the all inclusive package so you can enjoy except the tasty food brekfast lunch dinner also the facilities of the hotel with Snorkeling with turtles, sunset with dolphins and Sandbank trip. Also every time what u need extra facilities speak with the manager to arrange better prices. Finally ask the waiter the menu of customers which is extra to enjoy sea food in better prices.. General the island is expensive especially for souvenirs and food out of the hotel. Once more Thank you all for the hospitality

Samura is the best guesthouse on Thulusdhoo. The building is not too big, rooms are spacious, bright with amazing view, with beautiful natural coconut and macrame decoration everywhere, wooden tables, mostly natural materials, inside the building and also in the outside area with frontbeach (bikini beach) sunbeds, beautiful hammocs and platforms where to enjoy the beach and coconut trees view. There is also a very cute aerial gym which is super nice. All the Staff and the manager Sanjay are absolutely kind and lovely people. Also there is a professional diving centre (Feena diving) just 100m to the left if your looking for ethical and professional for diving trips or snorkeling trips, (no feeding, which most tours centres do, but is unethical and illegal) we highly recommend it. And all shops (gelato too) are just behind the corner. Thank you Samura for hosting us, it was absolutely amazing!

The resort is very new and the room, the pool and the restaurants were all immaculate. We stayed in an over-water villa and it was a very big room with a huge outside deck area. The deck had a swing chair (for two) and large bean bags and you could jump straight into the sea from there. The two beaches are idyllic with great views over the open water. There was also bioluminescent plankton on the east beach which was a real treat.
