There are people you can never forget no matter how much time passes, and Zaid is one of them. He is a truly remarkable man in every sense. From the moment I met him, I felt I was in the presence of someone special. He doesn’t treat guests as clients, but as friends and family. Friendly stuff in the camp, the tent and the food was amazing. We had a tour with the 4x4 car through the desert! So discovered the nomads and Kohul mines! We will do it again soon! Thanks Hassan.

The camp is beautifully laid out and positioned right next to the sand dunes for easy access to see the sunset and sunrise; both a must do experience. The facilities are all super; the camp uses solar power so there’s electricity in every tent and an en suite with a fantastic hot water shower. The staff were super friendly and attentive and we loved spending time with them in the evening by the camp fire playing music, chatting with them other guests and looking at the amazing night sky. it was easy to book activities or to just grab a sand board and give that a go! We stayed for 2 nights and did a private tour of the desert which was fab, as well as a camel ride to watch the sunset. We were also happy that there weren’t other camps close by - we could enjoy watching the sun rise in a private setting. Thank you for the staff for going the extra mile to make our engagement in the desert extra special!

Lovely New Year’s eve in the desert with camels ride to the camp and back and a stay in a very well equipped camp. Mohammed, our host, made sure that we feel more than welcomed!

This hotel is located in the Erg Chebbi Desert in Merzouga, at the foot of the Golden Sand Dunes. It has a swimming pool, restaurant and terrace with a panoramic view of the desert.

Very nice, typical hotel, personalized welcome. Outdoor parking on site. Relaxing atmosphere. Very pleasant pool with an exceptional view of the dunes. Second pool heated to 32 degrees and clean... wow it's wonderful to swim there in the evening with a starry sky. The food is delicious. Beer and wine at a reasonable price. Extraordinary, helpful and supportive staff. A detour is essential to discover this wonderful place, located at the gateway to the desert. One of the best places to explore the dunes. Asphalt road to the Riad.
