We had a nice welcome upon checking in, and the instructions given by the front desk were very clear. We also had our own guest relations officer which was a nice touch. The breakfast buffet was pretty awesome, I loved the selection of curries to go with the Sri Lankan breakfast items, and they even had rice congee which was a first on our trip for us. The room was veryyy comfortable and the bed was perfectly firm. There was a slight problem with the blinds in the room when we checked in, but they got it fixed within 15 minutes. I used the gym in the morning and was pleasantly surprised to find barbells available which is great. The equipment is well kept and there is a good variety of machines available. The location of the hotel is perfect if you plan to do some surfing, it's easy to find a surf school just on weligama beach, steps away from the hotel. We used the spa on our last morning there and I had a good experience with the therapist and the booking of the spa session was also very seamless. Overall it was a great experience from all touch points, from the check in, to the in room service, restaurant, gym, spa, and also at check out. It's a five star hotel so of course it's going to be expensive, but worth the price if you want to have a relaxing holiday by the beach.

This is the most beautiful resort we have ever stayed with. The views are amazing, the food is delicious and abundant. The bar area has a gorgeous old world feel to it. The rooms are huge and perfectly appointed. I cannot rate this resort high enough, wish we had stayed longer!

We stayed in the tree house one night and it was just beautiful, as the house is really unique in its construction. The host family was super welcoming, greeting us with a 0km breakfast and garden tour. The location - amid the forest - is slightly far from the main road, we would recommend a motorbike or tuktuk. Totally recommended!

The location is mind blowing with the front sea view, the villa garden and the swimming pool. There is also a beach access. Our room was big, nicely decorated in a colonial style with spa furnitures. The customer has the choice to have breakfast in front of his room on the private terrasse or in the garden which adds to the intimacy. The breakfast was really good!

Location is awesome! Just across the road from Kai Beach and Nomad. The staff is lovely and super helpful. There’s a spa in the same building which also has good massages. Ideal for a longer stay as they have a small kitchen space as well.

What I loved the most was the peaceful atmosphere and the feeling of being surrounded by nature. The location is perfect, very close to the beach, the river, and the main street. The family is truly welcoming, the neighbors are lovely, and the amenities make the stay very comfortable. The mattresses are great, and you can even rent a bike to explore the area. Honestly, everything was perfect! I came because it was highly recommended, and I’ve decided to extend my stay — it’s honestly the best place I’ve stayed in Weligama (perfect AC, hire water and fast wifi).
