I‘ve had the most wonderful stay. The tour guide for the safari was organized by my host and was one of the very experienced drivers. I also got recommendations for dinner, was taken for bird watching, was driven to the bus station and all the time my host made sure that I felt comfortable and everything worked out. Great base for visiting Yala. Owner was extremely helpful and made our stay more pleasurable because of his helpfulness and kindness. Breakfast provided was excellent. Plenty of food. Rooms were really well thought out and extremely comfy. Made for a very relaxing stay. Owner organised a very reasonable taxi for our onward journey to Ella.

The owner was super friendly. Had safari booked with the hotel, the owner was a good guide and the breakfast after safari had many options and was yummy. Recommend!!

What a great place to stay. Family business providing great service including great food from restaurant. Clean comfortable room with everything you need. Pool was a great bonus after a day on Safari to relax and unwind.

Very nice accommodation, large bedroom and large bathroom with a nice terrace. The host is very welcoming and cooks super well! We had a great time. And best wifi in Sri Lanka !

Very big and comfortable room. Nice staff. And a swimming pool to cool down after a safari in Yala. If you stay 2 nights you can use the hotel bikes for free. A good way to see the sights in Tissa. Nice hotel for families.

Loved our short stay at Doubletree. The rooms are spacious and the property as a whole was very clean and well maintained. Meals were good but the restaurant staff deserve a special mention - especially Harsha - as he went above and beyond to take care of our family. The pool is a highlight - absolutely huge with an excellent shallow area on one side and swim up pool on the other. Pool staff were very attentive and friendly. Slightly further from the Yala Block 1 and Block 5 entrances but not a dealbreaker. Property as a whole is very luxurious and upscale. Would stay again!

Nice location - just few steps from the beach. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. AC was working great, hot water system also. Room has protection against insects, so nothing gets inside the room. Owner is super helpful, showed us the hotel, beach and surrounding area. He can also arrange the safari for you. There is a restaruant in the hotel serving tasty seafood (we had fresh lobsters). Definitely a great spot! Fully recommended for everyone!
