An unforgettable holiday. The hotel is located on a quiet beach without people. Quiet and peaceful place. The rooms are large, clean. The staff is nice and attentive. The food was excellent. They offer also lot of ayurvedic treatment and yoga. Possibility of trips around the area. Ask at the reception. And the top of our stay was birth of turtles on the beach. We helped put them in the ocean. Unforgettable experience!

We went to Kayaam House for part of our honeymoon to Sri Lanka. It was perfect! So gorgeous and serene. You're right on the beach - the beach is peaceful - there is no one on it and it stretches as far as you can see. When we were there, the waves were too big to swim but walking along the beach was still lovely. The pool is gorgeous! Perfect temperature and big. Loved it! The rooms are clean and fresh. Great having the smart TV too. Our room was facing the beach so we could hear the waves at night (sometimes they break quite loudly!) - so it was helpful that they supplied complimentary ear plugs. The food is great! And the staff are wonderful. They also host meditation and yoga classes in their outdoor hut by the pool every day - we did this and it was such a lovely way to start the day.

What made our week’s stay at Lagoon Gate Tangalle Resort truly exceptional was how well looked after we were by Lalith and his family. My friend and I were interested in yoga and exploring, and not only did Lalith connect us with everyone to ensure we had the best possible experiences, from yoga and kayaking to whale and turtle watching, but we got to discover the closely connected local community. Rooms were spacious and spotless, our meals were freshly home-cooked, and there was plenty to see in the tropical grounds. Tangalle is a stunning part of Sri Lanka, and we are grateful that we really got to make the most of it.

The host was extremly friendly and helpful. Apartment was amazingly clean and cozy, also the room is huge. The garden was maybe the best part, very nicely groomed and full of birds and peacooks whose singing is the best alarm clock ever. Breakfast and dinner were yummy and the host also makes great cocktails. By far the best place we have stayed in in sri lanka. Highly recommed! :)

I had a wonderful experience at this beach hotel. The location is unbeatable, just a few steps from the beach, which made my stay even more special. The room was perfectly lit, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was extremely friendly and always ready to help, which made me feel right at home. The breakfast was undoubtedly one of the best I’ve had in Sri Lanka; a delicious variety of local dishes that I couldn’t get enough of. The hotel’s facilities are well-maintained, with a pleasant garden that invites relaxation. It’s definitely a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Absolutely amazing room and balcony, with views over the beach and great big windows in the room and bathroom. One of the nicest rooms we’ve stayed in anywhere. Staff were helpful and dinners by the beach were lovely. Specials were served each day which we had on a couple of occasions. The fruit and Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious. The pool and grounds were excellently kept by all the staff.
