The location and the atmosphere are magical. The hotel is sustainable & there is a lot of respect for the nature & environment. The staff is very kind and everything is in detail just perfect. The waiters who served us, Mado & Thaya, made our dinners & breakfasts the best. Also our butler Nifras did an excellent job. We wish you all the best. This is a unique place you dont want to leave. There is a pack of dogs which will conquer your heart. They are the most friendly and just want love. They are part of this hotel and this unforgetable experience. Thank you for everything.

My son and I spent three wonderful days at Maalu Maalu. The hotel, perfectly located right by the sea, is simply stunning — a beautiful harmony of nature, comfort, and traditional architecture. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the exceptional quality of the service. The staff were attentive, always smiling, and showed genuine hospitality throughout. There are plenty of activities for all interests, and the food truly won us over. A special thank-you to the chef and his team for their creativity: delicious, authentic Sri Lankan cuisine with a refined and modern twist. We’ll always remember their signature crab dish… and the amazing passion fruit sorbet. The staff were unbelievable. All so friendly and helpful. It was great to just have a chat with them as they were all so nice. The property has everything you could want!! There was plenty off staff working so the place is kept so well and you are never waiting for anything you need! I don’t leave many reviews but I had to for this hotel!! I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in this part of Sri Lanka and looking for a nice relaxing break as we were after travelling around the country for the first week of our trip!

For our second visit to Passikudah we chose Anantaya Resort and we couldn't have chosen better. From the first moment to the end we were looked after by the friendly staff, especially Rishopana and Kanogitha. We booked this resort for a room with direct access to the pool and we were lucky to get perhaps the nicest room. But what makes this resort special is the people who work here. We also spoke with the friendly beach/pool attendant S. and likewise the waiters and cooks at breakfast and dinner did everything they could to make the guests happy. Excellent Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner. My husband was delighted that the waiters here could spin a beer with a foam cap. The room was very nice and clean. The pool was cleaned regularly too. Free sunbeds on the beach. Beautiful beach and walks. If we had not booked another stay before, we would have stayed longer. We will definitely be back here soon!

I visited Giman Free Hotel with my partner, and it was an amazing experience. We came mainly for Ayurveda treatments, and it was the best we’ve ever had! The therapists were kind and skilled, and the treatments made us feel so relaxed and refreshed. The hotel is very peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature. The staff were friendly and always ready to help us. We also enjoyed the fresh and tasty food, especially the seafood. Our room was clean and comfortable, with great views. If you want a quiet and relaxing place with amazing Ayurveda treatments, Giman Free is perfect. We will definitely come back! 🌿💆‍♀️💙
