High Park hotel exceeded all of my expectations. We had booked a cabana but were given an upgrade to a room with a balcony. The grounds are beautifully maintained as well as the pool which is huge. The beach out front is beautiful and lounge chairs are provided. The breakfast is super with a choice of western or Sri Lankan. All of the food at the restaurant has been delicious and very well priced - less than at the nearby beachfront restaurants. But what is the most exceptional is the staff. Your wish is their command.

Top hotel at a wonderful beach, very nice wooden cottages, friendly staff and reliable service e.g. the airport transfer. On the way from Colombo to Nilaveli and Trincomalee You are passing jungle and national parks, having wild elephants on the road, an exciting experience also, even though it is a car ride by around 5 hours. Warmly recommended!

This hotel is nestled on Nilavali Beach, a 10-minute boat ride from Pigeon Island. There is no available WiFi, a large outdoor pool and spacious rooms with views of the ocean.

Review: We had an amazing stay at this accommodation! The room was incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed, reminiscent of a Balinese resort. It was very well-equipped, though a mini-fridge and hand towels would have been a nice addition. The cleanliness was absolutely impeccable. The rooms are built in a cabin-style structure with high ceilings, creating a cozy yet airy atmosphere. The outdoor restaurant area offers a beautiful panoramic view, with tables and a bar where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The breakfast was truly exquisite, with high-quality ingredients and expert preparation. A special mention to the host, who went above and beyond to help us with everything. On the second morning, he even prepared a gluten-free adaptation of the breakfast so I could fully enjoy the experience. This place is an oasis of peace and tranquility, yet conveniently located near restaurants and a stunning, paradisiacal beach just a 7-8 minute walk away. We highly recommend it for a relaxing and unforgettable stay!
